Creating a Top Level Work Region

To create a top level work region, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Admin then the sub-menu Work Regions.
  2. If this is the first work region to be created then the message on the window will say “No work regions found, Click to create your first skill work region.”
  3. To create a new work region, click on the add () icon at the top right of the screen.
  4. On the popup, enter the following details:
    • Name - this is the name of the work region.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Tip - if the new work region did not appear, try refreshing the page.

Creating a Lower Level Work Sub-Region

To create a lower level work sub-region, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Admin then the sub-menu Work Regions.
  2. If no top level work region yet exists, first create one. For creation of the first work region, refer to above instructions instead for Creating a Top Level Work Region.
  3. To create a new lower level work sub-region, first find the work region you wish to add a sub-region to by scrolling or using the search function. Then, click the add () icon.
  4. On the popup, enter the following details:
    • Name - this is the name of the work sub-region.
  5. Click Save.
  6. You should see your work sub-region appear as a lower level child of the higher level work region you selected, which should now be displaying a yellow arrow to indicate that it is a parent to at least one sub-region below it in the region tree.
  7. Tip - if the new work sub-region did not appear, try refreshing the page.

Editing an existing Work Region or Sub-Region

To edit an existing work region or sub-region, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Admin then the sub-menu Work Regions.
  2. Find the work region you wish to edit by scrolling or using the search function.
  3. Click on the edit () icon, then follow the instructions from step 4 from either Creating a Top Level Work Region or Creating a Lower Level Work Sub-Region, above.
