Warning - Before proceeding with this instruction, you must have created at least one Procedure (see How to create & edit a procedure), one Procedure Status (see How to create & edit procedure statuses), and it is also advised to have created at least one one Procedure Document (see How to create & edit a procedure document), which in turn also has at least one Document Revision (see How to create & edit a procedure document revision, and attach document files).

Creating a Procedure Revision

To create a procedure revision, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Procedures then the sub-menu Procedures.
  2. Scroll or use the search function to find the procedure you wish to add a revision to.
  3. Click on the inspect () icon.
  4. Scroll down to find the procedure’s Revisions subsection. If the procedure does not have any revisions yet, this subsection will read “You do not have any revisions for this procedure. Click + to create a new procedure revision”.
  5. Click the add () button to the right of the Revisions heading to add one.
  6. On the popup, enter the following details:
    • Number - This is the arbitrary revision number for the revision you are creating.
    • Status - This is the status of the revision you are creating. To select, start typing the name of the status desired. Filtered suggestions will begin to appear. Continue typing to narrow down the filtered results as required, then click on your desired status to select it.
    • Document - This is the procedure document associated with this procedure. To select, start typing the tag or name of the document desired. Filtered suggestions will begin to appear. Continue typing to narrow down the filtered results as required, then click on your desired document to select it.
    • Document Revision - This is the revision of the selected document above, which is relevant to this procedure. You may select the document revision only after a document has been selected in the previous text field, after which you may select the revision desired from a drop-down menu, by clicking on the down-pointing triangle to the right of the text box.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Tip - if the new procedure revision did not appear, try refreshing the page.

Editing a Procedure Revision

To edit an existing procedure revision, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Procedures then the sub-menu Procedures.
  2. Scroll or use the search function to find the procedure you wish to edit a revision of.
  3. Click on the inspect () icon.
  4. Scroll down to find the procedure revision you wish to edit.
  5. Click on the edit () icon, then follow the instructions from step 6 in Creating a Procedure Revision, above.
