Creating a Procedure

To create a procedure, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Procedures then the sub-menu Procedures.
  2. If this is the first procedure to be created then the message on the window will say “You do not have any procedures. Click + to create a procedure”.
  3. To create a new procedure, click on the add () icon at the top right of the screen.
  4. On the popup, enter the following details:
    • Number - this is a the associated alphanumeric reference that will be associated with this procedure, and all of its revisions.
    • Name - this is the associated name of the procedure (e.g. “lubricant oil change”).
    • Company - this is the associated company the procedure is relevant to.
    • Tags - this is an optional field. If you have any tags, you may associate them with the procedure by beginning to type the name of the tag to begin a search. Suggested tags will begin to appear. Click on the tag you wish to assign to this procedure, and repeat to add more tags if desired.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Tip - if the new procedure did not appear, try refreshing the page.

Editing a Procedure

To edit an existing procedure, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Procedures then the sub-menu Procedures.
  2. Find the procedure you wish to edit by scrolling or using the search function.
  3. Click on the edit () icon, then follow the instructions from step 4 in Creating a Procedure, above.
