Creating a Procedure Document Revision

Warning - Before proceeding with this instruction, you must have created at least one procedure document (see How to create & edit a procedure document)

To create a procedure document revision, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Procedures then the sub-menu Documents.
  2. Find the procedure document you wish to add a revision to by scrolling or using the search function.
  3. Click on the inspect () icon.
  4. Scroll down to find the procedure’s Revisions subsection. If the procedure does not have any revisions yet, this subsection will read “This document has no revisions”.
  5. Click the add () button to the right of the Revisions heading to add one.
  6. On the popup, enter the following details:
    • Number - this is a the associated alphanumeric reference that will be associated with this document revision.
    • Status - this is the status of the revision. Select by clicking on the small triangle to the right of the field, to bring up the drop-down menu.
    • Date Issued - this optional field is the date of issue of this document revision.
  7. Click “Register”. This will bring up the file uploading section.
  8. Upload a file to this revision by dragging it from its location in your device’s filing system into the designated area. Alternatively, click on the designated file area to bring up a file selection dialogue box.
  9. Continue uploading as many files as desired. You are also able to select / drag+drop multiple files at once, to save time.
  10. Click save.
  11. Tip - if the new procedure document revision did not appear, try refreshing the page.

Editing or attaching files to a Procedure Document Revision

To edit a procedure document revision, or add document files to it, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Procedures then the sub-menu Documents.
  2. Find the procedure document under which there is a revision you wish to modify/add files to, by scrolling or using the search function.
  3. Click on the inspect () icon.
  4. Scroll down to find the procedure’s Revisions subsection. Find the document revision you wish to modify/add a file to, by scrolling or using the search function.
  5. Click on the edit () icon.
