Warning - Before proceeding with this instruction, you must have created at least one procedure revision which has a set of skill requirements (see How to modify skill & competency requirements for a procedure revision). You need also to have added a skill profile and preferably also a work region profile to at least one worker (see How to add skills to a worker’s skill profile and How to add a work region to a worker’s profile).

Creating an Execution Plan

To create a procedure execution plan, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Procedures then the sub-menu Execution Plans.
  2. If this is the first execution plan to be created then the message on the window will say “You do not have any procedure execution plans. Click + to create a procedure execution plan”.
  3. Click the add () button to the right of the Procedure Execution Plans heading to add one.
  4. On the popup, enter the following details:
    • Procedure - This is the procedure the execution plan is intended for. To select, start typing the name or tag of the Procedure desired. Filtered suggestions will begin to appear. Continue typing to narrow down the filtered results as required, then click on your desired procedure to select it.
    • Procedure revision - This is the specific revision of the above procedure which is to be executed. You may select the procedure revision only after a procedure has been selected in the previous text field, after which you may select the revision desired from a drop-down menu, by clicking on the down-pointing triangle to the right of the text box.
    • Name - This is arbitrary name of the procedure execution plan you are creating. Type in an alphanumeric name here.
    • Work Region - This is an optional field: if your execution plan is to be specific to a certain work region, you can nominate it here to help in selecting workers to complete the execution plan, based on their own nominated work region(s). To select, start typing the name of the wokr region desired. Filtered suggestions will begin to appear. Continue typing to narrow down the filtered results as required, then click on your desired work region to select it.
    • Description - This is an optional field: You may write a description for the execution plan if you wish. Type in your description in this text field, or leave blank.
    • Start Date - This is an optional field: This is the prescribed beginning date for the execution plan.
    • End Date - This is an optional field: This is the prescribed completion date for the execution plan.
  5. Click Save
  6. Tip - if the new procedure revision did not appear, try refreshing the page.

Editing an Execution Plan

To edit an existing procedure execution plan, perform the following steps:

  1. Use the left side bar menu to select Procedures then the sub-menu Execution Plans.
  2. Find the execution plan you wish to edit by scrolling or using the search function.
  3. Click on the edit () icon, then follow the instructions from step 4 in Creating an Execution Plan, above.
